This week, our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils had the exciting opportunity to take part in a Rugby League skills session delivered by the Warrington Wolves Foundation. Coaches from the Foundation visited school to run a series of fun, energetic and engaging activities designed to introduce children to the core skills of Rugby League.

The sessions were packed with movement, teamwork and plenty of laughter as pupils practised running, passing, agility and coordination through a variety of games and challenges. The coaches created a positive, supportive environment, ensuring every child was involved and able to shine—whether they were brand new to the sport or already enthusiastic players.

Teachers were delighted to see how confidently the children approached each activity, with many pupils commenting on how much they enjoyed learning new skills from professional community coaches. The Foundation’s passion for the sport was clear, and their encouragement helped boost the children’s confidence throughout the morning.

We are thrilled that the Warrington Wolves Foundation will be returning next week for another round of training. Our pupils are already looking forward to developing their skills further and continuing their Rugby League journey.
