Our wonderful Year 6 Play Buddies have been making a big difference on the playground this term. Each day, a team of enthusiastic volunteers give up their lunchtime to play with children from Reception and Year 1 on the MUGA.

The Play Buddies organise a range of fun games—from running and ball games to imaginative play—making sure every child feels included and has a great time. Their kindness, patience, and energy help create a happy and welcoming environment for our younger pupils.

The Reception and Year 1 children absolutely love spending time with their older role models. Not only do they enjoy the exciting activities, but they also look up to the Year 6 pupils, who set a fantastic example of teamwork, responsibility, and friendship.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 Play Buddies for their commitment and the positive impact they have across the school. Their efforts help make lunchtimes a highlight of the day!
