Sports Day

This year our sports day was fantastic! KS1 competed in 6 different events within their pastoral care groups, guided by our fantastic Year 5 leaders, and KS2 competed in an athletics sports day.

​​​​​​Year 6 Road to Tokyo

Year 6 traveled to Orford Hub to compete in the Road to Tokyo school games event. This is the third year in a row where we have taken all of our year 6 pupils to Orford hub for this event, and every time they have loved it. 

The day started off with a mass warm up before the children split off into different events including Orienteering, Cycling, Athletics and Tennis.

Year 5&6 Orienteering

Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 orienteering teams who took part in a competition at Walton Gardens. The teams did very well and managed to get one of the quickest times on the day. They used this competition as a warm up for the Year 6 Road to Tokyo school games event in which orienteering was one of the most popular events.

Year 3&4 Tennis

Congratulations to our Year 3&4 Tennis team who managed to qualify for the county finals after finishing runner up in both the level 2 final and level 3 final. The team fought very hard and are excited to to compete in the county finals week commencing 8th July.

Kin-Ball Festival 9th May

Well done to a group of our Year 5 students who took part in a Kin-Ball festival at Priestley College. During the day they learned how to play the sport and even got a chance to compete against other schools. Check out the pictures below to see how they got on.
