Platinum Award Application 2018-2019

We are proud to announce we have been awarded a gold award for the academic year which has enabled us to reapply for our platinum award.

Our application centers around the Chief Medical officer's recommendation that children participate in a minimum of 60 minutes of physical activity per day.

We are proud of the way we encourage the children to be healthy and physically active and have a holistic approach to doing so.

School Games Platinum Award 2017/2018

We are very privileged and proud to be one of 104 primary schools out of 20,925 in the UK to be awarded the Platinum School Games Award for both the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 academic years; the highest possible School Games achievement.

The Platinum School Games Award recognises our outstanding participation in competitive school games events, but also celebrates our high quality and inclusive PE curriculum.

To achieve the Platinum School Games Mark , we successfully retained the Gold School Games Mark for five consecutive years. This outlines our progressive commitment to provide our children with plenty of opportunities to try their hand at over 40 different sports as part of the School games initiative.
