Year 5&6 Tag Rugby

Well done to our Year 5&6 Tag Rugby team who competed in our local cluster competition for two weeks. The team played some lovely rugby and managed to score more tries each game. Unfortunately we finished third and missed out on a runners up medal. Well done team, good luck in your next competition!

U9's County Final Football

After finishing second in their qualifying competition, our team of year 4 footballers headed to Northwich to compete in the County Final event. After starting the competition with a 1-1 draw we drew our next game 0-0 and lost our final game 1-0. This meant we were eliminated in the group stage, however we were able to stay and watch some fantastic football as teams from Chester, Warrington, Ellesmere Port, Macclesfield and Sandbach all competed for the trophy. Well done to our team who represented our school and Warrington with great pride.

Week 1

Wow! What a start! The boys managed to win 8-0, 2-0 and at half-time are winning 2-0 in another game. The boys pressed fantastically, were composed in possession, solid in defence and were clinical with their shooting. Well done boys on a fantastic start to the league!

Week 2

Congratulations to our boys who finished in 2nd place after narrowly losing the final 1-0 to a very good team. Our goalkeeper won player of the tournament after making some outstanding saves in the final and remaining focused throughout the tournament.

Year 5&6 Sportshall Athletics

This half-term our team of year 5&6 athletes took part in our local athletics competition. They competed in events such as relays, the javelin throw, the speed bounce and the long jump to name a few.

The team finished with a total of 304 points which was an improvement on last years score which was just below 300.

Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to progress through to the county finals. However, we are super proud of our team for working really hard and improving their score from last year. Well done team!
