Yellow is such a 'feel good' colour.  It's the colour of sunshine that warms you inside.  It's the colour of new crops growing in the fields.  It's the colour of the brightest stars that shine in the night sky, it's the colour of happiness!

Have a listen to Coldplay's warming tune all about the colour yellow and listen to the lyrics.

'Look at the stars, look how they shine for you...'

Coldplay - Yellow (Lyrics)

And just when you thought things couldn't get any brighter, here's a rap, written and performed by Westie all about dealing with your feelings...

KS2 Positive Awareness

Saturday 10th October is World Mental Health Day and this year's theme is all about how we can make mental health better for everyone.

It's an opportunity for people to think about what they do to look out for others, as well as themselves when it comes to issues surrounding mental health.

This could mean checking in on friends or family who you suspect may be having a tough time, talking about mental health issues more freely and openly, or being a good listener when it comes to those you care about.

Here are some thoughts from children about how we can make mental health better for everyone...
