Westbrook Old Hall Primary School opened in February 1982. It caters for children between the ages of 4+ and 11+. The school has an annual admission limit of 60 children and there are currently 369 on roll.

The school is a bright, modern building with 14 classrooms, two multi-purpose halls, a library, administrative block, a multi-use play/sports area, an enclosed field, two playgrounds, a covered play area outside our Early Years classrooms for all-weather use and two community rooms.  All classrooms have interactive computer whiteboards. We have also invested heavily in laptops and iPads for all phases. We have extensive outdoor fixed play/adventure equipment suitable for all children from ages 4 to 11. The Governors are always looking at ways to improve the physical environment of the school.

The school is set in the most pleasant surroundings, adjacent to Sankey Valley Park but is also conveniently situated within easy access of the main motorway networks to Liverpool and Manchester.

Importantly, the school recognises the need to ensure the security of our pupils. Consequently, access is restricted via one main door with remote locking, video facilities, CCTV and monitoring systems.
